Bouygues-Thai together with Bouygues-Energies Services were awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract to design, construct and maintain three photovoltaic power plants in Tak and Sukhothai provinces of Northern Thailand for Soleq Solar Thailand, a solar energy producer.

The project consists of 3 solar plants and each solar plant has a nominal output of 8 MWac and 10.185 MWp. The general design is strictly the same for the 3 plants, except for the precise location of the lines of panels, which is adapted to the actual ground situation.

The design and construction works involved 450 people for each site at peak periods. After the successful construction of these plants, Bouygues Energies & Services and Bouygues-Thai are appointed to operate and maintain these solar farms for a period of five years.
