Bouygues Thai: a 100% site-oriented Training Center

Bouygues Thai is renowned for attaining the highest safety and quality standards within the industry. In 2016, we stepped up our efforts to set up a dedicated Training Centre which enabled our colleagues to receive training directly on work sites.

Located in Muang Thong Thani, close to the Company’s head office, this new training facility is designed to meet dual objectives: firstly, to upskill employees, enabling them to expand their expertise in the areas of processes and techniques; secondly, to evaluate the expertise acquired. The results of this evaluation will then become an integral part of the annual remuneration review.

Training programmes are broadly divided into two streams – construction techniques (such as the installation of suspended ceilings, tiling, plaster work, etc.); compliance with on-site safety regulations (such as equipment used for working at height, electrical inspection, scaffolding works etc.).

To ensure optimum performance on work sites, Bouygues Thai decided to make these training programmes available to employees, partners and subcontractors. Evaluations take the form of theory tests and practical simulations. In 2017, weekly sessions will be held, thereby enabling some 400 participants to benefit from the training during the course of the year.

The new Training Center reaffirms Bouygues Thai’s commitment to safety and quality, in addition to our pragmatic and effective approach to drive corporate performance.
