The Met

An innovative high-rise building which enables quality of living

2006 - 2009

The Met was designed by Tandem Architects LLC in Association of WOHA. The design of the 66-storey tower is an innovative solution to the high-density tropical living in Asia.

 

The Met building in Bangkok won the prestigious RIBA Lubetkin Prize in 2011. The jury citation notes that the Met “enables a very pleasant tropical living in an economic structure that points the way forward for architects to look for innovative local responses to what a high-rise must deliver.”
